A gull fighting other birds for pretzel
bits on the ground ran to something else on the side of the road, scooped it up
in his beak and tossed it around on his tongue as if he were going to swallow
it but at the last second spat it out when it proved to be a stone instead of
food.
When you see what others want, don’t be
greedy and grab it. Stand back, Observe. Think. It could be something you don’t
want or shouldn’t have.
Personally, I never refuse a handful of timothy
hay. Wouldn’t fight my friends over it, though.
